Know your tablet and who it is for! All Tablets are similar but not equal.
When it’s about gifting children a piece of technology, parents become insecure. For young ones, phones seem to be a distraction and laptops are just too much for them all at once. So the mixture of a phone, iPod and a laptop speed processor gave us the tablet. Most of the companies call it a tab or tablet where as apple keeping its cool seems to enjoy using the name iPad for its version of the tablet. Multiple choices are available today in the market for buyers. Almost every company that has advanced in the technology of displays has at some point introduced a tablet but success has not favored all.
The major stake holders of the market seem to be Apple and Samsung whereas the rest share part of the market. A person who wants to buy the latest tablet must know a few things about a tab and must compare these aspects with others he has as an option. The screen resolution, the density of pixels, the screen size, the weight as well as most importantly the processing speed. Newer tabs not only connect to Wi-Fi but also to LTE networks at a little extra fee.
The new Apple products like the Apple iPad mini 3 as well as the Apple iPad Air 2 already have a lot of consumers waiting to get their hands on them because of the massive Apple following. However, great competitors like Samsung have introduced multiple devices; proper tablets and phone/tablets that can work as a phone too are all out in the market. Samsung has also introduced the Note series, Note 1, 2 and 3 that have a great processing speed and can perform the tasks of both a tablet as well as a phone. Other companies like Toshiba, Ainol, Google, Xtouch, Acer and windows tablets all are somewhat on the same level and improvements take place every now and then.

We are also expecting “Apple Pay” with the new IOS 8.1 Update. Not to forget that its time for apple to make new announcement regarding iMac and OS X Yosemite. This oops by Apple has us thinking that rumors that Apple is bringing something new to the table. Apple Ipad mini is not expected to do great because of its similarity to the iPhone 6 Plus. This lack of surprise indicated that Apple may have something more important behind the curtains. Well we will know for sure this October 16. This is second month that apple is releasing something.

Is Microsoft Windows 10 Better that Windows 8? We think so!, Windows 9 skipped? Yes and there might be a good reason.
Microsoft officially announced that Windows 10 will be the next official Windows OS. Windows 9 has been skipped but the way Microsoft sees it Windows 8.1 took its place. Microsoft Windows 8 was a disappointment to many, mostly because there was so much difference from Windows 7. Windows 8 has a great concept but with lots of bugs and glitches it was not appalling to consumers. Windows 8.1 update was a huge improvement but still a lot of bugs and glitches remained.
So what happened to Windows 9? There are few rumors floating around as to why Microsoft skipped 9. One reason is that some believe Windows 8.1 was more like Windows 9 since Microsoft never added extension to the OS. Second was that Windows 9 would have made a possible comp ability with third party software. For a programmer that writes the code the (win9) could be mistaken for Win95 and Win98 when verifying a compatibility check and that could create issues. There is no official word why, but we believe that it has to do with compatibly check.
The New Microsoft Windows 10 looks similar to Windows 8 but whit whole lot of improvements. The whole overall in Windows 10 is that it will look more like windows 8 but will work as Windows 7. Windows 7 is currently the most popular Widows on desktops. Microsoft continues to push Touch as forward thinking, but want desktop users to have same experience as they have had in the past few Windows generations.
Microsoft has launched its Windows 10 Insider Program that will allow beta testers to provide input and sniff out bugs before Win10 hits the general public sometime in fall of 2015
Microsoft knows that they screwed up with Windows 8 and I am sure that Windows 10 will Finally be a hit. From previous Windows releases its seems that its Microsoft trend to release one bad OS and follow up with a great one after that.

First we hear about IPhone 6+ that bends in your pocket (#BANDGATE) and now IOS 8 major bugs.
Users have reported that there phone looses service at random which Apple believes that it is a software issue. If you remember IPhone 4 had similar problem with service bars disappearing when holding your phone, Apple solution offer free bumpers that no one really used. This time might be different or maybe not. So far Apple has released IOS 8.0.1 updated to address the issue but we have learned that even IOS 8.0.1 needs a bug update to IOS 8.0.2 that is scheduled for early next week.
Last time Apple had design flaw with IPhone 4, no one was discouraged from buying IPhone because Apple dint have much competition. This time however Apple has lots of competition especial Samsung that has lots of similar phones with similar sizes.
After closer look at IPhone 6 it looks that hardware wise Samsung Galaxy S5 is better choise and maybe even better that Galaxy. However it is more important how the operating system works with the Hardware.
Full IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 Plus review coming soon!

Apple IPhone 6+ Bending, It is facing a major disaster as angry users express their disappointment with IPhone 6 design.
If you have not heard already the IPhone 6+ is Apples latest disaster. Soon after it lunch people have started reporting the IPhone 6+ bending when you apply pressure in the middle or even when you keep it in your pockets.
Unfortunately the bending is not a new feature. #BANDGATE
The problem with the IPhone 6+ and even IPhone 6 is that the chassis is made out of aluminum. Aluminum in nature is a soft metal material, unlike Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4 which is made of plastic. When tested bending it will emit some sound but at the end it will mostly go back to its original shape. You would figure that Aluminum is more durable that plastic. When you bend aluminum it will remain bend because it is metal.
Apple (AAPL) Stocks drop on the news and this is a disaster of IPhone 6. Apple is already facing shortages of phones do to the early backlight design flaw and now a bendable phone to add on top of that. This is officialy Apples worst Iphone Launch ever. People are still waiting for Apple to comment.
Samsung Edge has curved Screen and Now Iphone 6+ has one too, This is unfortunate not funny for current customers that paid at least $300 for the phone. In a way people feel that they might have got ripped off.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-QX10 18.2 Megapixel Attachable Lens Review – For IPhone or Android Smartphone
Sony has developed a portable 10X camera lens for a Smartphone. This is a nice add-on to your phone to take pictures, but perhaps Sony has come up short when developing this attachable Lens.
We tested the Lens with IPhone 5s and overall it worked great, the attachable lens attaches to the phone without a problem, but here is the problem with it. The connectivity between the phone is with either Wi-Fi or NFC, since IPhone does not support NFC we were limited to using Wi-Fi connection.
You can take great pictures with the Lens but you are limited by the Wi-Fi connection. It is great when you are home but that is the only place that you can really use it.
The lens has no internal memory so evey picture that it takes is trasfered via Wi-Fi to your Phone. Because of that there is some lag time. The worst part is that you can only use it where you are able to connect it to Wi-Fi, this makes this Sony Lens usage very limited.
If you have a phone that supports NFC then you are in better luck but NFC transfer speeds are pretty slow compared to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
For The current Price tag of $199.99 you are better of buying a Point and Shoot camera which will produce better results.
10X Zoom range
Wi-Fi with NFC
Some Image Noise
Lag in communication
Limited usage (restricted to Wifi Range)
If only Sony had added Bluetooth connectivity, this Portable attachable lens could see a lot more attention, but because it has few major limitations we have to say that we will not recommend this product. Perhaps if a V2.0 comes out with Bluetooth capability then it would deserve a second look.
Height 2.5 inches

Samsung has announced its all New high-quality metal frame, luxury look and feel Galaxy Alpha Smartphone. If we dint know any better Samsung is going after the soon to be announced Apple IPhone 6 4.7” Screen Size phone. From the rumors we have heard Alpha phone will look a lot like IPhone 6 4.7-inch version.
The Galaxy Alpha has metal Frame just like IPhone 5S and IPhone 6, Slimmer design just like the new IPhone 6 will have, No Micro SD slot just like IPhone 6. Same screen Size of 4.7 inch just like the IPhone 6.
Depending on which rumors you hear first, someone is trying to copy someone. Unfortunately for Apple, Samsung got here first and that is what matters.
On September 6 Consumers will be able to see what Apple IPhone 6 has to offer and determine if they want to wait for IPhone 6 or get something similar right now.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a step down comparing to Galaxy S5 but at the same time it mimics IPhone 5s and possibly IPhone 6 in a way. This gets us thinking. If Apple does not deliver something innovative this year, Galaxy S5 will be the Flagship Smartphone of the year.
Does the New Galaxy Alpha tells us that Samsung will start making metal frames on the next generation phones? Most likely !!

The New IPhone 6 Technology – What we can expect This September 9th 2014
There are new information from Apple that it may delay the release of IPhone 6 because of late design changes in the IPhone 6 Display Screen. Apple may delay the release or will have delivery shortages. This means that if apple continues with current lunch date there will only be limited amount of Iphone 6 available to the public.
Updated: 8/12/2014 :New rumors surface abut Apple HealthKit. It appears that Apple will finally will join health industry. Apple HeathKit apps have been spotted being tested in few health industries.
Apple has officially taken over Beats by Dre
But what does this mean to a Apple consumer?
Apple will be introducing its new flagship phones in a month or so and you will be able to get the Beats headphones with you Iphone but unfortunately it will cost you extra. There is also rumors that Apple will have Beats Iphone edition that will include access to Beats by Dre music library and it will come with Beats headphones for a extra $150.
* It has been confirmed that Apple will have two new Screen sizes, 4.7″ and 5.5″ * Apple may have total of 3 IPhone announced, IPhone 6, Iphone 6 Mini, IPhone 6+ * There are rumors that Apple may change there pricing structure, IPhone 6 with 4.7″ and 5.5″ screens will likely to cost more * Apple to announce new phones in September 2014, and any other New Technology it may have
There are a lot of rumors and Concepts designs for the New IPhone 6 that should be announced sometime this fall if everything goes right. There are great photos and videos of what the next IPhone 6 will have and might look like but they are done by Great Photoshop masters and most likely will not make the cut. We all know what we want to see but we also know we will not see it. There is only so much a company can create in a short time. Remember that designing a phone is one thing, but then there is: will it work?, is it user friendly? and the last manufacturing which all takes time. A lot of people speculate that Apple will release something cool because they have filled many patents. The truth is that Apple just likes to patent everything just in case, that does not mean that they will execute on it. Remember the rumors of IWatch patent? 2 years later and we might finally see the IWatch. It is definitely a question if Apple IPhone 6 will deliver the next big thing this year. Apple has reduced using Samsung parts mostly do to the patent war over the last few years. Apple has struck a deal with TSMC to produce chip for Apple, but will TSMC produce quality parts as Samsung did for years? . One thing that we know we we will like is that the New IPhone 6 will have IOS 8 and the same IOS will end up on older generations phones. Jailbreak hack will not be available for the IOS 8 for at least few months, so please remember not to updated your older phones to IOS 8 if you want to have Jailbroken phone, you should wait till it is available once again or you may lose it.
Thinks that IPhone 6 will probably have:
Edge-To-Edge Display – Apple has filed a patent on a new frame that will allow to attach display screen seamlessly
Bigger Screen 4.7″ – Confined!
Bigger Screen 5.5″ ” – Confined!
HealthKit – Apple has been seen testing its new Heathkit apps with IOS 8
Beat Headphones – Apple is trying to buy Beats company currently owned by Dr. Dre, so its very possible but most likely they will sell it as a accessories
Wireless Headphones – Apple phone support wireless headphone via Bluetooth, but will it include Beats Heaphones?
Water Resistant – Every other manufacturer is doing it, will Apple follow?
HomeKit – RF remote control – CONFIRMED!
Hart Rate Monitor – CONFIRMED! part of HeathKit
New Content sharing – Apple announced that their new IOS 8 will have functions that will allow easier share with family and friend CONFIRMED!
Smart keyboard – IOS 8 suggestive typing, similar to auto-correction that does not work properly most of the time, Hopefully improved.- CONFIRMED!
A8 Quad-Core Processor – Correctly in production – CONFIRMED!
Thinner and lighter – Most likely, Apple tends to go towards that direction. And All we wanted was better battery life, maybe will get it with IPhone 6S
Full HD – Full HD with bigger screens – CONFIRMED!
16-18 Megapixel camera – Remember that Megapixel are not as important as the quality of the photo Censor.
IWatch –Samsung has a watch so will Apple, probably similar to Samsungs with Flexiblt AMOLED Touch Screen.
Rapid Charge – Small chance that it just might have it since everyone wants it and Samsung dint deliver it. But there is always the issue that Apples USB cable may not support it.
Touch ID Fingerprint sensor – IPhone 5S Has it so will IPhone 6.- CONFIRMED!
IOS 8 – Already Announced – CONFIRMED!
Sapphire screen – CONFIRMED!
Superfast Downloads capability. – .(This will only work with few Carriers, Most Cellular Carriers have Opted-Out) – CONFIRMED!
New Processor – A8 Processor (no specs available at this time) – CONFIRMED!
New Technology – still undetermined
Things that IPhone 6 will NOT have:
Projector – To expansive for apple to adopt that technology
Lighting Cable Headphones – Rumors are that Apple is working on the headphones that will connect to the lighting port , possible in the future CONFIRMED!
Laser keyboard – Definitely not. Laser keyboard just does not seem to be that cool anymore CONFIRMED!
Flexible Screen – Not likely, Its to early for that, maybe in a year or two
Wrap Around Screen – Not likely, Its to early for that, maybe in a year or two CONFIRMED!
Wireless Charging – That would make the phone bulky, Apple is all about light and thin CONFIRMED!
5G Wi-Fi or 802.11ac – There is a chance that it might have it. I really think it will not just because Phone companies want you to use their Data and not Wifi.and Bigger range means more power consumption
Memory card slot – Apple does not like external anything, They make their money from selling their larger memory phones

The Transportation Security Administration has decided to make you flying experience even worse by banning uncharged electronics from any flight entering USA. This includes your phone, laptop, IPod, Tablet, MP3 Player and any electronic device that is powered by a battery. This is just the beginning as over time it will become a standard security procedure for all flights. This action suggests that TSA is trying to seize your electronic device and profit from it. Think about it, tell me that you dint have a laptop at some point that had dead battery but you used it anyways by just connecting it to AC power. Well you can’t bring that laptop on the plane anymore.
TSA already uses explosive trace detection scanners that will sniff out and detect any explosives and any potential chemicals that can create a explosive. So why does TSA go after uncharged Electronics? TSA explanation is that the electronic device needs to have at least power to power on during screening. If the electronic device powers On then you are good to go but if it does not then you will have option to leave the device behind or miss the flight.
Is this the way TSA wants to increase security or just cash in on electronics that will be left behind? TSA claims that terrorists can replace the battery with a explosives and trigger it by turning the device ON. Even if that was the case would that put people the stand in line for screening in Risk? The Screening lines are packed with people that want to get on their flights, yet TSA is not considering that they create risky environment for those people.
Now that the Policy is in effect travelers will need to bring chargers for their devices with them which in fact create more baggage to check and more ways to smuggle anything thru security. TSA however has not mentioned anything about check in luggage. So you can still bring your uncharged devices that way but you know how it is with check in luggage, you never know if it will ever reach your destination. I would be really upset if my phone was in the luggage because it was uncharged and somehow got lost. My photos and contacts lost, not to mention my precious phone. This would be extremely upsetting, yet it happens all the time. For those that traveled and airlines lost there baggage know how hard it to get airlines to reimburse you for lost language. They are on with paying the first $100 to replace the suitcase but not the content of it.
Lesson to be learned from this is to always make sure you electronic device is fully charged and carry a charger whenever possible. Don’t let TSA profit from you and your electronic devices.

Canon 5D Mark III and Nikon D800 Pro DSLR Comparison – Which one Is Better?
Are you a die hard Canon user or a dyed in the wool Nikon fan? There are some biased photographers that swear by their favored brand and claim to be un-compromised when it comes to their beloved camera brand they have used since first being bitten by the photography bug. It may be that most brand snobs don’t realized that it can come across as snobbish (and insulting) when they respond with “I only use [insert brand here] I’d NEVER use [insert your brand here]” when asked what brand of camera they use.
But is there really a significant difference that makes one brand better than the other? Or is it all a matter of taste? Both Nikon and Canon companies are based out of Japan have been rated as #1 in camera sales over the years, they both have produced high quality equipment and are backed up with quality assurance and excellent warrantees. Their range in styles are DSLR to compact point and shoot. Whether your a novice who just wants the simple camera for the occasional family vacation or birthday party, or a professional veteran photographer whose lively hood depends on his/her gear, each of these industry leaders can provide the right camera for your purpose.
Since both are used by leading award winning photographers around the world saying one is better than the other is just really a matter of preference. It all depends on tastes and what features you can’t live without.
Nikon D800 DSLR offers an impressive 36 megapixel sensor, while the Canon EOS 5d mark III offers a mere 22 megapixel that’s a 14 megapixel difference for a camera that’s costs is about the same.
More photographers are wanting their DSLR to have a high definition video feature. And it’s pretty impressive that some of the latest action packed block buster movies were recently made using the Canon 5d Mark II. Nikon’s D800 is no slacker, it’s been used for TV broadcasting in serval studios from TV shows to nightly news. Both of these camera systems have models that offer full HD recording with range of frame rates, available headphone audio monitoring & stereo sound recording, manual controls for exposure, that are capable of high quality high-definition footage, pretty impressive. However, Canon first came up with a excellent focus tracking system, its Duel Pixel CMOS AF used with STM lenses that’s been designed for video, the autofocus is smooth, fast and an accurate.
The design and placement of dials, controls, flip screens and shutter release buttons differ from Canon and Nikon, they’re almost always opposite. For example, Canon places their quick control dial at the rear of its camera while Nikon has two dials one in front and one in the back of its grip and a D-pad on the rear of its camera. When it comes to zooming and focusing, exposure, and mounting the lens, they’re at opposite ends. So as to why most photographers have a biased camera brand when it comes to handling, it’s no wonder that why there’s a favored brand, if one were to switch back and forth between the two models (in one photo shoot for example), it’d be a recipe for frustration and disaster. However, that being said, there are professionals that carry both and are used to switching back and forth, but with novice or hobby photographers it can be frustrating at best. When it comes to body styles and placements of knobs, dials and controls this is all a matter of tastes, one is not better that the other, so it’s just a matter of personal opinion and preference which is better than the other.
For years Nikon has had some kind of secret they’ve patented to ensure perfect and consistent flash exposure, while Canon users struggle with the variation of frame to frame exposure. Just recently Canon’s 5D Mark III has perfected this flash exposure issue and is now equal to Nikon’s. The only draw back is Nikon still out performs Canon by way of user friendly flash settings. While Nikon has easy to find and select options, Canon requires some research and thorough reading of their manual to find how to change settings like flash sync and speed.
Most DSLR cameras have two distinct types of autofocus speeds, a slow contrast detection or a fast phase detection. The fast autofocus is best used for shooting through the viewfinder, while the slow autofocus is generally best for live view autofocus. Each of these systems are different and non-compatible, until Canon created an advanced system, its 70D features a Duel Pixel CMOS AF than enables an 80% of the sensor area to be used as phase detection so you can switch seamlessly from video to picture. It makes a great camera for film use. Unfortunately Nikon’s hybrid AF system is limited to Nikon series 1 in their compact system.
Canon and Nikon now both carry a vari-angle or tilt and swivel, monitor, but Canon offers a touchscreen and a vari-angle monitor the EOS 60D followed by EOS 600D and 70D, 100D and 700D. Nikon does not have this double feature for the monitors for their DSLR cameras.
While Nikon and Canon have the same screen dimensions, their ratios differ, Canon has a 3:2, the same as it actual images, while Nikon’s differs so image appears smaller on screen. Canon also has a very specific coating on it’s screen that resists oil smudging from fingers while Nikon doesn’t. The materials the screens are made from also different, Canon has a high-quality screen that’s anti-refection and easy to view in daylight, Nikon remains uncoated and difficult to view in outdoor light.
Nikon has more advanced features that lets you embed your images without having to upload to a computer first. Canon has just caught up with Nikon on this, where as before one would have to load the images and use special software to embed images on their PC.
Nikon offers easy data transferring without any software to install, folders can be created within the camera settings itself for easier transferring too. Canon still requires special software you must install in your PC before you can transfer your images.
While there are other features where one is better than the other it’s always best to talk to a professional and ask why they prefer their favored brand. There is always a trade off and if you’re on a tight budget it’s best to try out each before you decide on which you’ll be investing in. If you offer to do an internship with a professional, you can get hands on experience and an insight to the differing features to these two amazing camera systems. You may find that a Nikon fits better in your hands, or you may discover a you favor Canon’s LCD touch-screens, but the only sad part is, as stated before is deciding what your trade-off is going to be. Happy shooting!
