  • iPad Air 2 has Touch ID and supports Apple Pay

It appears that Apple has leaked some info on the New iPad mini 3 and iPad Air 2 in their new released IOS 8.1 iPad User Guide that’s available on iTunes. Officially Apple is not releasing any New Products till Thursday . It appears accidently user guides have been uploaded to the ITunes library little too early. There are rumors that Apple has something New to Announce and is not concern about iPad as it will not be the highlight of the day.

 

 

FApple Ipad 4rom this leak we know that I IOS 8.1 Update will be available shortly and with it the New iPad mini with Retina Display and iPad Air 2 with A8X processor. Both Devices with feature Touch ID Sensor and iSight.

We are also expecting “Apple Pay” with the new IOS 8.1 Update.  Not to forget that its time for apple to make new announcement regarding iMac and OS X Yosemite. This oops by Apple has us thinking that rumors that Apple is bringing something new to the table. Apple Ipad mini  is not expected to do great because of its similarity to the iPhone 6 Plus. This lack of surprise indicated  that Apple may have something more important behind the curtains. Well we will know for sure this October 16. Apple IOS 8 Bugs Again

First we hear about IPhone 6+ that bends in your pocket (#BANDGATE) and now IOS 8 major bugs.

Users have reported that there phone looses service at random which Apple believes that it is a software issue. If you remember IPhone 4 had similar problem with service bars disappearing when holding your phone, Apple solution offer free bumpers that no one really used. This time might be different or maybe not. So far Apple has released IOS 8.0.1 updated to address the issue but we have learned that even IOS 8.0.1 needs a bug update  to IOS 8.0.2 that is scheduled for early next week.

Last time Apple had design flaw with IPhone 4, no one was discouraged from buying IPhone because Apple dint have much competition. This time however Apple has  lots of competition especial Samsung that has lots of similar phones with similar sizes.

iphone-6-plusAfter closer look at IPhone 6 it looks that hardware wise Samsung Galaxy S5 is better choise and maybe even better that Galaxy. However it is more important  how the operating system works with the Hardware.

The New IPhone 6 Technology – What we can expect This September 9th 2014

There are new information from Apple that it may delay the release of IPhone 6 because of late design changes in the IPhone 6 Display Screen. Apple may delay the release or will have delivery shortages. This means that if apple continues with current lunch date there will only be limited amount of Iphone 6 available to the public.
Updated: 8/12/2014 :New rumors surface abut Apple HealthKit. It appears that Apple will finally will join health industry. Apple HeathKit apps have been spotted being tested in few health industries.
Apple has officially taken over Beats by Dre

But what does this mean to a Apple consumer?

Apple will be introducing its new flagship phones in a month or so and you will be able to get the Beats headphones with you Iphone but unfortunately it will cost you extra. There is also rumors that Apple will have Beats Iphone edition that will include access to Beats by Dre music library and it will come with Beats headphones for a extra $150.

There are a lot of rumors and Concepts designs for the New IPhone 6  that should be announced sometime this fall if everything goes right. There are great photos and videos of what the next IPhone 6 will have and might look like but they are done by Great Photoshop masters and most likely will not make the cut. We all know what we want to see but we also know we will not see it. There is only so much a company can create in a short time. Remember that designing a phone is one thing, but then there is: will it work?, is it user friendly? and the last manufacturing which all takes time. A lot of people speculate that Apple will release something cool because they have filled many patents. The truth is that Apple just likes to patent everything just in case, that does not mean that they will execute on it. Remember the rumors of IWatch patent? 2 years later and we might finally see the IWatch. It is definitely a question if Apple IPhone 6 will deliver the next big thing this year. Apple has reduced using Samsung parts mostly do to the patent war over the last few years. Apple has struck a deal with TSMC to produce chip for Apple, but will TSMC produce quality parts as Samsung did for years? . One thing that we know we we will like is that the New IPhone 6 will have IOS 8 and the same IOS will end up on older generations phones. Jailbreak hack will not be available for the IOS 8 for at least few months, so please remember not to updated your older phones to IOS 8 if you want to have Jailbroken phone, you should wait till it  is available once again or you may lose it.

Wireless Headphones – Apple phone support wireless headphone via Bluetooth, but will it include Beats Heaphones?

Water Resistant – Every other manufacturer is doing it, will Apple follow?

HomeKit – RF remote control – CONFIRMED!

Hart Rate Monitor – CONFIRMED! part of HeathKit

New Content sharing – Apple announced that their new IOS 8 will have functions that will allow easier share with family and friend CONFIRMED!

Smart keyboard – IOS 8 suggestive typing, similar to auto-correction that does not work properly most of the time, Hopefully improved.- CONFIRMED!

A8 Quad-Core Processor – Correctly in production – CONFIRMED!

Thinner and lighter –  Most likely, Apple tends to go towards that direction. And All we wanted was better battery life, maybe will get it with IPhone 6S

Full HD – Full HD with bigger screens – CONFIRMED!

16-18 Megapixel camera – Remember that Megapixel are not as important as the quality of the photo Censor.

IWatch –Samsung has a watch so will Apple, probably similar to Samsungs with Flexiblt AMOLED Touch Screen.

Rapid Charge – Small chance that it just might have it since everyone wants it and Samsung dint deliver it. But there is always the issue that Apples USB cable may not support it.

Touch ID Fingerprint sensor – IPhone 5S Has it so will IPhone 6.- CONFIRMED!

Things that IPhone 6 will NOT have:

Projector – To expansive for apple to adopt that technology

Lighting Cable Headphones – Rumors are that Apple is working on the headphones that will connect to the lighting port , possible in the future CONFIRMED!

Laser keyboard – Definitely not. Laser keyboard just does not seem to be that cool anymore CONFIRMED!

Flexible Screen – Not likely, Its to early for that, maybe in a year or two

Wrap Around Screen – Not likely, Its to early for that, maybe in a year or two CONFIRMED!

Wireless Charging – That would make the phone bulky, Apple is all about light and thin CONFIRMED!

5G Wi-Fi or 802.11ac – There is a chance that it might have it. I really think it will not just because Phone companies want you to use their Data and not Wifi.and Bigger range means more power consumption

Memory card slot – Apple does not like external anything, They make their money from selling their larger memory  phones

Is Now the Time To Buy Older Apple Products?

 The quality of Apple’s technology is unquestionable. The problem for many people, however, is the cost of this technology. Not everyone can drop $899 for a computer or $399 for a new iPad that doesn’t even have 3G/4G technology equipped with it. Apple also has a quality reputation, which means even older apple product is going to have a strong resale value. Could now be the time to invest in an older piece of Apple technology? If you do, what do you sacrifice?

 

Let’s Take a Look At the Case of the Apple iPad

 Thanks to the efforts of my toddler and her glass of water, I was unexpectedly in the market for a new iPad not so long ago. I’d been one of those guys who waited in line to purchase the first ones when they hit the market, so it had been a pretty decent run. I was excited about getting the retina display on the 4th generation model, but then I realized if I bought the brand new iPad, I’d have to purchase a cord adaptor because of the new lightning connection.

 

So I took a breath, took a look at my options, and decided that the basic iPad 4 that was priced at $399 was the right choice to make. Apple told me it would take 2 weeks to send me the product, which was 2 weeks I didn’t have because I use my iPad for music production and had work that was due. So off to the store I went… where they were going to charge me an extra $150 for the exact same product.

That wasn’t going to happen. I needed options and fast.

What About Going With an Apple iPad 2?

As much as I’d love to say that I had the new iPad 4 with the A6X processor and the 4G LTE service, I knew this purchase didn’t make sense for me. Here were my reasons:

  • There is no 4G LTE service where I live out in the country.
  • I really had no use for Siri because I run videos and music software from my iPad when I’m not streaming music or baseball games.
  • I already had a bunch of MIDI connectors that wouldn’t work with the 30 pin to lightning adaptor, which meant having to purchase new cords.

And so, as the fates would have it, the store was running a sale on the iPad 2 that day, making it cheaper than what I could pick up a refurbished iPad 3 for and it was new out of the box. That’s the decision I made and it’s been a good one! I was back in business immediately and I’ve got no complaints.

So what did I sacrifice by going with an iPad 2? First there’s the lower overall graphics level, but from a real-user standpoint it’s not that much and barely noticable. I get HD baseball broadcasts that look as good as on my PC and I can send them to my TV through my Google Chromecast. Netflix and Hulu don’t have the upgraded playback capability anyway, so those movies on the iPad 4 look almost the same as they do on the iPad 2. That’s really no sacrifice!

The one true sacrifice, therefore is speed. The iPad 4 is cranked up and twice as fast as the iPad 3… which is faster than my new iPad 2. On the other hand, I got my new iPad for less than $300 and that’s a price that is nice – especially when you’ve got a toddler who likes to throw water on things and touch every gadget that i own. It may be an older piece of Apple technology, but the price was right, it is the 30 pin adaptor which works with everything I have, and it does what I need it to do. Maybe it’s time for you to buy older Apple products too.
